From Baby Naming/Introduction to the World throughout all the transitions of life (Off to School, Transition to Young Adult, Launching into the World and Wiseone) there are ceremonies available to bring celebration to key events. A Sand Timeline vase is often used to mark these transitions and a formal celebration is used to bring more significance to the event. Transition is important and should come with words of wisdom and support. The later celebrations are created with the individual to personalize and add deeper meaning to the ritual.

If we are celebrating a new addition to the family, we create a service that recognizes that new being as a unique and empowered being who is here to do their own special tasks with the blessing and support of a loving family. Additional celebrations are recommended as the child grows and reaches other milestones such as Off to School – first independent steps, Transition to Young Adult -the celebration of maturity markers, and Launching into the World – the quest for independence and adulthood.

Many in our society may never marry and not have the traditional celebration of Maturity celebration. Others may enter adulthood with chosen different identities (transgendered). This rite of passage can be celebrated in a personal ritual where the actualized adult claims their place in society and alignment with purpose.

A formal ceremony at the time of retirement, of a recognized state of the Wiseone is another offering that celebrates the whole person, recognizing the path being left behind and embracing the fullness of what yet lies ahead.

These are non-traditional rituals but are very powerful in helping individuals throughout all stages of life.
